FreudLooking for free review of the psych basics that might be covered on the social work exam? You could do much worse than the Psychology 101 course offered on AllPsych.com.  Ten chapters take you from research methods through personality development to psychopathology. (Each chapter used to end with a True/False quiz for review, but those look to have been removed.) Their description:

Psychology 101 is a general psychology text adapted to an online guided format. It represents a summary of the major theories, concepts, and interventions in the field of psychology. Reading the text will provide you with a strong basic understanding of the field of psychology. It won't make you a psychologist [or a social worker!], but it's a great place to start.

Psychology isn't social work and social work isn't psychology. But the overlap of basic information is vast. Think theories, developmental models, and the like. There's lots to be learned here that you may end up seeing on the licensing exam...or on practice tests.
