social work exam study guideSeeking guidance about the social work exam?  The amount of information out there can be overwhelming.  We've summarized the basics as we see them on our Study Tips page.  Included there, help with organizing time, approaching questions thoughtfully, managing test anxiety, and more.

To get our free Study Guide for the Social Work Licensing Exam, all you have to do is sign up. You'll get an email with a link, and you're in.

Our guide is 20-something pages long. While it's possible to bury yourself deep in a longer, content-filled study guide-slash-social work encyclopedia and delay your exam for months, it's not recommended. You probably already know the bulk of the information you need to pass the exam.  The best way to find your weak spots is practice--full, real-time practice.  A huge part of exam success is becoming acclimated to the four-hour, multiple-choice test grind.  For most, focusing on online practice exams is a less time-consuming, more productive way to go.

The SWTP program prepares you with realistic test questions.  Each question is followed by detailed rationales explaining how to reach the right answer.  Finally, links for suggested study offer additional help in areas you find require further brushing up (e.g., the NASW Code of Ethics or diagnostic details in the DSM).

For practice around the web, try our collection of free social work practice exam questions--from there you can get a sense of the various programs and pricing.  We've included SWTP's free practice exam and hope you'll sign on for the complete SWTP practice package.

No matter how you opt to approach studying, good luck on the exam!  Let us know how it goes.
